2008 AMDIS Award Winners

The 2008 AMDIS awards salute excellence and outstanding achievement in applied medical informatics. The awards program is presented by the Association of Medical Directors of Information Systems, a non profit organization representing over 1,800 physician leaders who have a high level of interest in and are responsible for information technology in their organization(s).

Physicians are taking on a much greater role in acquiring, installing and supervising the utilization of information technology. The AMDIS awards honor the individuals and/or organizations who have successfully applied information systems and computer technology into the practice of medicine.

The winners will be honored at the 17th annual Physician Computer Connection Symposium, July 15 - 18, 2008, and in Modern Healthcare / Modern Physician magazines.
