AMDIS Awards

The AMDIS Awards salute excellence and outstanding achievement in applied medical informatics. The Awards program is presented by the Association of Medical Directors of Information Systems, a non profit organization representing over 3,100 physician leaders who have a high level of interest in and are responsible for clinical information technology and informatics in their organization(s).

Physicians are taking on a much greater role in acquiring, installing and supervising the utilization of information technology. The AMDIS awards honor the individuals and/or organizations who have successfully applied information systems and computer technology into the practice of medicine.

The winners are honored every year at the annual Physician Computer Connection Symposium.

Nominations for individuals and organizations worthy of this special recognition can be made by submitting the AMDIS Award Nomination Form.
